I was surprised at how lovely this ring is. It looks far more expensive that it cost and has a nice sparkle to it. Could be passed off as the real thing to a lot of people; only those who are very familiar with real diamonds would spot the difference. The setting is very neat and doesn't look like cheap costume jewellery.
